Retreats where continuing education finally feels like self-care
APA and NBCC-approved CEUs
Therapists are really good at reminding everyone else to rest, set boundaries, and make time for themselves. Actually doing it? That can be a little harder.
A retreat isn’t a treat-yourself luxury. It’s maintenance for the person who spends her career maintaining everyone else. It’s a few days where nobody needs you to be regulated, insightful, or “on.” Where you get to just be a person — not a clinician, not a container, not the one who holds it all together. And since you need CEUs anyway, why not knock them out somewhere that fills you back up instead of somewhere that leaves you more depleted than when you walked in?
Come breathe. Come rest. Come remember why you loved this work before it started costing you so much to do it.
We treat rest as part of the curriculum, not an afterthought.
Most CE conferences pack your day with back-to-back sessions in a hotel ballroom. We space ours out — real breathing room between sessions for beach walks, quiet mornings, and doing absolutely nothing.
Small groups, real connection.
You won’t be one of 300 faces in a conference hall. Our retreats stay intentionally small, so you actually get to know the therapists sitting next to you — not just nod at them in a hallway.
Beautiful locations, chosen on purpose.
We don’t rent out convention centers. We pick places that actually restore you — coastlines, quiet, space to exhale — because where you learn matters as much as what you learn.
CEUs that count, without the burnout.
You’ll walk away with your full continuing education hours completed and documented — but you’ll also walk away rested, which is more than most CE weekends can say.
Built by people who understand the work.
Olive Connections wasn’t built by a conference company that happens to offer therapy CEUs. It was built with therapists — and what they actually need — in mind.
Our retreats fill up fast, so secure your spot early!

I didn't know what to expect. I just wanted something that made a lasting impression for me and my daughter. This was perfection.

I was leaving soon and wanted one last bonding moment with my mom. We needed this.

This was right up our alley way! It was a perfect mix of collaboration, alone time, and fun activities! I will probably sign up for another one of their retreats. Stephanie and Melita are awesome!

A thousand thank yous to Olive Connections for this retreat. I learned so much about myself and feel I am a better human--I know that sounds crazy, but it's true.

There is an early bird discount of $300 until November 1, 2026. Please use code OLIVEC at checkout.
All retreats require a $350 USD non-refundable deposit. 50% refund if canceled 60+ days prior to the start of our retreat, 25% refund if canceled 30+ days prior to the start of our retreat. There will be no refund if canceled 29 days or less before the retreat. You will have the option to reschedule to another retreat, provided that your balance is paid in full. If the retreat is canceled on the part of Olive Connections for unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
Olive Connections holds no financial responsibility for changes to airfare and other miscellaneous charges.
Pricing varies by retreat based on location, length, and lodging, and is listed on each individual retreat's page. Every retreat includes CEU credit hours, lodging, breakfast, snacks, activities, and materials — so the cost you see covers most of the full experience, not just a seat in a session.
We also offer a deposit option to reserve your spot, along with a payment plan for those who would like to spread the investment over time. Reach out to us directly if you have questions about pricing for a specific retreat.
We aim for upscale to luxury accommodations. Each participant will have access to their own private room. Should you prefer to share accommodations with a colleague, we are happy to arrange that for you.
Continental breakfast, snacks, and drinks are included. We will also host a welcome dinner the first night of every retreat.
Yes — every retreat includes a mix of structured and optional activities designed to help you unplug and actually enjoy where you are, not just sit through sessions. Depending on the location, this might include things like guided beach walks, yoga, a cooking class with a local, or a sunset cruise.
Activities are there to support rest and connection, not to fill every hour — so you'll always have plenty of unstructured time to relax, explore on your own, or just do nothing at all.
Specific activities for each retreat are listed on that retreat's individual page, since they vary by location.
Again, this varies by location, but we generally include:

I really liked the time spent with my mom and I really liked Dr. Stephanie. I am looking forward to the next one!
