Our retreats were created from a simple truth: the mother–daughter relationship shapes how women see themselves, others, and the world.
Yet in modern life, this relationship is often strained by busyness, expectations, unspoken emotions, and major life transitions. Many mothers and daughters love each other deeply—but feel disconnected, misunderstood, or unsure how to communicate.
We wanted to create something rare: a safe, beautiful space where mothers and daughters can slow down and truly meet each other again.
Not as roles. Not as expectations. But as two people in a relationship.
Olive Creations blends psychology-based framework with experiential learning—adventure, creativity, nature, and reflection—to create breakthroughs that traditional conversations often cannot reach.
We believe:
-Healing happens through experience, not lectures.
-Emotional safety is essential for growth.
-Shared challenges build trust faster than words alone.
This is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about strengthening what already exists.
Olive Connections retreats are not therapy sessions, workshops, or vacations.
They are carefully curated relational experiences—guided by licensed mental health professionals and mentors—where insight, joy, and reconnection happen through shared moments, not pressure or problem-solving.
Time slowing down
Conversations finally having room to breathe
Rediscovering each other beyond daily roles
Stephanie Eberts, cofounder of Olive Connections, has over 25 years of experience in the counseling profession with positions ranging from academia, private practice therapist, school counselor, clinical director of an intensive outpatient program, and administrator for a residential facility.
She earned her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Georgia State University, Atlanta and her master’s degree from Loyola University, New Orleans.
Stephanie has held leadership positions in national professional organizations and is a regular presenter at the regional, national, and international level.
She has published multiple book chapters and journal articles.
Outside of her therapy sessions, Stephanie is a devoted dog lover who believes there is nothing quite like the grounding presence of four-legged companions.
Travel is another passion. Stephanie loves experiencing new cities, cultures, and coastal sunsets — finding inspiration in different landscapes and conversations along the way. She is fluent in French.
If it is football season, you will likely find her in red and black on Saturdays rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs, and in black and gold on Sundays cheering for the New Orleans Saints. Loyalty runs deep — both in life and at Olive Connections.
Before founding Olive Connections with Stephanie in 2025, Melita spent 16 years in education, serving as a Health and AP Psychology teacher with and holding leadership roles including Science Department Chair.
She also founded and directed a youth volleyball club, mentoring girls ages 10-18.
Melita was a Division I volleyball player at the University of Arizona and later competed professionally in Europe.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona and completed dual-certification teaching degrees through Central New Mexico College. She is fluent in Greek.
For Melita, connection starts in the home — with family, good food, and time well spent together.
When she’s not working, you will most often find Melita spending time with her family or in the kitchen. She enjoys cooking, creating meaningful moments at home, and making everyday life feel special.
